Freight is charged at a fixed price, though there are some items that cannot be purchased under these freight charge. These items will have a note in their description and incur a surcharge upon checkout. These items include, but not limited to, dangerous goods (eg. disposable helium tanks, sparklers, etc), large items that are light in weight (eg. pinatas) and oversized/bulky items (eg. tablecloth rolls).

Rural and remote areas of Australia may also incur a freight surcharge due to their location. If these conditions apply to your order, you will be contacted and given the opportunity to pay the extra surcharge or cancel the order and be given a full refund.

Some items cannot be sent to PO Boxes or via Express Shipping. These items will have a note in their descriptions and if you have these items in your shopping cart the express shipping option will not appear in the freight options in the checkout. Some items cannot be shipped and are only available for in-store pickup.

You may also be responsible for any extra charges that the freight company imposes on Party Time before, during or after the delivery of the goods. This can include but not limited to re-delivery if no-one is home, re-delivery to a different address or re-delivery if the address is incorrect.
 

Delivery/Collection Times

Delivery times vary depending on your location. As we are based in Townsville (North QLD) it usually takes longer for an order to arrive than it would from metropolitan areas. Expected delivery/collection times are:

  • In-Store Pickup: usually same day, if an order is placed on a weekend or public holiday, next business day. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for collection.
  • Regular Shipping: usually 2 to 7 business days, regional areas can take up to 14 business days.
  • Express Shipping: usually arrives overnight but can take up to 4 business days, regional areas can take longer.

Whilst all care is taken, we cannot guarantee any delivery times. All delivery time estimates are provided by our couriers and out of our control. If your order is urgent, please contact us before placing your order.

Damages and Leaving Orders If No-one is Home

Party Time takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to any products once the order has left our warehouse. Party Time will pack fragile products to the best of our ability but take no responsibility for any breakages or damage.

Your order may be left at your address if you are not home. If this occurs Party Time and our freight courier does not accept any responsibility for any theft, damage or loss on any order. Your order will not be left at your address if you specifically tell us so. Leaving your order at your address if you are not home is at the complete discretion of our freight courier.
